In SAS Anti-Money Laundering, large amounts of data that are returned by the SQL queries took a long time to display in the SAS® Enterprise Case Management data grid. This behavior resulted from using the SAS® XML library to generate XML that is used by SAS Enterprise Case Management.
Performance has been improved by replacing the use of the SAS XML library statements in the source code with direct XML generation. This source change generates user-interface (UI) data in an XML format that SAS Enterprise Case Management expects. Now, SAS Enterprise Case Management UDF fields are directly appended to the data set to be serialized.
In addition, updates have been mad to the SAS® Stored Processes queries that further improve performance by removing unused and duplicate fields.
